AHRC Selects BTP for Technology Design of New Intermediate Care Facility in Harlem

New York, NY - September 17, 2009 -Business Technology Partners, Inc. (BTP), a premier New York City-based technology consulting and IT support firm, today announced that it has been engaged by NYSARC, Inc. NYC Chapter ( D/B/A: AHRC) to design the data and security components of its new intermediate care facilities in Harlem. The facilities, located at East 126th Street, will occupy two and a half floors and will use BTP's project management and IT networking expertise in designing all IT systems and managing the deployment at AHRC's new location.

As part of its comprehensive service offerings, BTP aids construction managers, architects and engineering firms in planning new spaces for technology as a major component of the architectural and engineering process. BTP, which has worked with the AHRC in the past, will provide the organization with design, procurement and construction administration services for cabling infrastructure, security and voice/data networking. An MPLS data network connection is planned and will extend from AHRC's Maiden Lane headquarters to the Harlem location.

One important aspect of the residential facilities is the use of a “virtual doorman” security system. Many organizations with a moderate-sized building population use a “virtual doorman” as a means to provide cost-effective, convenient and secure alternatives for residences seeking around-the-clock security staff. For AHRC, BTP is planning an interactive security and monitoring service that will enable staff to rapidly communicate with vendors and all visitors to the facility.
