NYC Reach Selects BTP as a Preferred IT Vendor

The NYC REACH Program, a designated Regional Extension Center for New York City, selected IT company Business Technology Partners as a preferred IT vendor. The federal government chose NYC REACH to help physicians adopt Electronic Health Records as a way to improve health outcomes. The initiative is expected to modernize the United States' healthcare system by increasing the efficiency of healthcare delivery to patients and decreasing the cost of care and insurance for patients and providers.

"It's important for practices to engage with an IT consultant to help them care for their hardware, software, and infrastructure. We believe patient health information must be protected through policies and procedures, along with routine maintenance of the network. Medical school didn't train physicians to do this work, which is why we require them to choose qualified professionals like those at BTP," Dr. Amanda Parsons, assistant commissioner of the Primary Care Information Project and head of NYC REACH, said.
